We are lucky enough to have a Community First Responder in Wedhampton – Carol Blood.
A small group has been set up alongside her who can support in case of any emergency in the village.
So if you are in the unfortunate position of having to call the emergency services, please feel that you can call upon one of the contacts below to support you while you wait for the ambulance (or other) to arrive.
They are not a substitute for the emergency services so should be contacted after 999 has been called.
They would collect the defibrillator, but aside from Carol who is qualified, everyone else has had different levels of training. The level of help would vary therefore and would be appropriate for each individual’s degree of experience.
These contacts are also on a WhatsApp group which is obviously easier to access so if you would like to be added to this group please let Jane Armistead know.

Hopefully this will be something that we never have to call upon ….!
